School to host free courses

THE Workers’ Educational Association is organising two free courses at Barrowcliff School which are open to parents and volunteers in the Scarborough area.

Practical Parent Helpers is a short five week course starting on Friday, running from 9.30am to noon.

The course will help people understand more about how children learn.

Helping in Schools - a 14 week accredited course leading to the NCFE Level 2 Award - Support Work in Schools, starts on Friday March 16 and will run from 9.15am to 2.45pm.
