The flower, which stands at 11ft 6inches, required “no special ingredients, just sun and water” to grow.

Mr Parker already has a rival in the form of five-year-old Indiya Barker-Dunwell.

Indiya is already a seasoned veteran, having competed in the competition for the past five years, along with her dad Shaun Dunwell.

Her flower stands at 11ft, and has an astonishing six heads.

The competition is still open. Please email pictures to newsdesk@yrnltd.co.uk
