A GROUP of Scarborough masons managed to raise almost £1,500 for good causes when they organised a fund-raising night.

And A night at the Farm was such a success that another has been organised on Saturday.

It was organised by members of Scarbrough Lodge 7147 and a spokesman said: “The night raised a total of £1,492, including a donation of the Scarborough MKM Builders merchants.

“The money raised is to be split between the Scarborough Strokes Club and Masonic charities.”

This year’s Another Night on the Farm will be held at Stepney Hill Farm on Saturday night from 7.30pm.

There will be a hog roast, a bar and live entertainment from the Barflies Band and Spectrum discos.

Entry costs £17 and tickets will be available on the night.
