All aboard for a fundraising coastal cruise!

SCARBOROUGH Maritime Heritage Centre are setting sail for a fundraising cruise.

Volunteers, entertainers, wildlife experts and crew will board the Regal Lady June 15 for a trip along the coast.

Faith Young, Secretary of Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre, said: “We are proud to announce our first Fundraising Cruise and hoping for calm seas and clear skies for a special event suitable for all the family.

“We will have entertainment, including Richard Baines of Yorkshire Coast Nature, who will be on hand to showcase the wonderful sea-life along our rugged coast.

“Guests will also be able to ask Richard questions on a one to one basis, as well purchase refreshments.

“Maritime centre volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions about their work, do a bit of knot tying, net mending and who knows – we may even see a dolphin?”

Boarding for the cruise will be 7pm and refreshments will be available, with all funds in aid of Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre.

Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for children and available from Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre, in Eastborough. They can also be purchased on the night.
