Hundreds of walkers will be striding out as the clock strikes 12 on Saturday night for the annual St Catherine’s Hospice Midnight Walk.
The popular event features a 6.5-mile moonlit walk around Scarborough, taking in Marine Drive and Foreshore Road.
Walkers will stop at the Harbour Bar - which marks the halfway point - for hot drinks, bacon sandwiches and ice cream.
The event raises tens of thousands of pounds each year towards patient care at the hospice, with many participants walking in memory of a loved one.
