PEOPLE can find out more about local sporting opportunities at tomorrow’s Scarborough and Filey Community Sports Fair.

The event takes place at Scarborough Sports Centre from 2pm to 4pm.

Several local clubs will be in attendance. Active clubs attending are, Scarborough Rugby Union FC, the Sports Centre Health and Fun Club, Scarborough South Cliff Golf Club, Scarborough Rowing Club and Scarborough Athletic FC.

A free prize draw will also be held.

Matt Hewison, sport development officer for Scarborough Council, said: “We have been really lucky to get some excellent prizes to give away as part of the fair, these include two tickets to a Leeds Rhinos rugby league fixture, a Middlesbrough FC signed pennant, gym membership of either Scarborough Sports Centre or Whitby Leisure Centre, a stadium tour of Newcastle United’s Sports Direct Arena, two cases of sports drinks bottles with carriers, a stadium tour of Preston North End’s Deepdale Stadium, an Adidas Olympic t-shirt and also the opportunity to gain a year’s membership to one of the participating clubs.”
