A fundraising antiques quiz is being held at Duggleby’s in Vine Street to support a local charity.
The event, taking place on Thursday November 7 at 7pm, is in aid of Scarborough and Locals Together (SALT), which has a charity shop in Falsgrave Road.
Guests will be given the opportunity to describe and value a number of antique items, followed by expert opinion and valuations offered by David Duggleby.
People will also have the chance to chat and exchange views about particular items.
Organisers at SALT say that this is a fun event, open to all, and have thanked David Duggleby and his team for their continued support.
Tickets for the event coast £7.50 to include a glass of wine or soft drink and a light supper.
Only 50 tickets are available by calling in to the shop at 79 Falsgrave Road, or telephoning (01723) 447229.
The shop is run by volunteers only and has no paid staff. All profits go back into the local community.
Donations of clothing, accessories, toys, books, CDs, DVDs and bric a brac are always welcome.
