A SCARBOROUGH charity is appealing for donations in support of its Spring Fair.
The Wilf Ward Family Trust in Scarborough, is looking for donations of auction or raffle at the event.
The charity provides supported living accommodation for vulnerable adults across the town.
Support workers help adults who live with various disabilities including learning disabilities, Austism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy.
Juliet Lomax, senior support worker at the charity, said: “I understand everyone is struggling in the financial climate but I would you people can find it in their heart to help us out.
“We are a registered charity and have to do our own fundraising events in order to raise funds which are used for equipment, holidays, furniture and social outings for tenants.”
“We are holding a Spring Fair to raise much needed funds for the adults we support, we are hoping to make this the biggest ever, but we need support.”
The Spring Fair is being held on April 14 at the Mencap facility in Valley Road.
Donations can be sent to 15, Devonshire Drive, Scarborough, YO12 7NH, or to find out more visit www.wilfward.org.uk
