SCARBOROUGH’S St Catherine’s Hospice is encouraging people to raise funds by holding a “Dine at Mine” event.

Fundraiser Louise Leah said: “Some ideas might include a themed evening, for example, to celebrate the forthcoming Royal Wedding, a champagne brunch, a night in with supper and a movie, a tea party, cocktails and canapés or even a bangers and mash supper!

“You could even encourage your friends and colleagues to form a ‘Dine at Mine’ network to host their own dinner party and keep the fun in fundraising going – you could even mark each other out of ten if you dare!”

To raise vital funds for hospice care at your event, please ask your guests to donate what they think the meal would have cost them in a restaurant, or ask for a fixed donation. To obtain a “Dine at Mine” fundraising pack, contact fundraising department on (01723) 378406 or louise.leah@st-catherineshospice.org.uk.

Saint Catherine’s Hospice provides hospice care to people with life-limiting illnesses.
