ANIMAL fans took part in a fun-filled “Jungle Time” workshop at Scarborough Art Gallery.

The sessions are running from 11am to 1pm every Friday during the school summer holidays.

The drop-in event is suitable for children up to 11 years old and features poetry, collage and face painting.

The art gallery is hosting a number of other school holiday drop-in sessions.

These include a “Small Prints” workshop aimed at getting children aged 0 to five years involved in the creative art of printing.

It is on every Tuesday during the holidays from 11am to 1pm.

Older children are invited to the Printastic workshop every Wednesday from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.

These sessions are suitable from youngsters aged seven to 13 and provide hands-on opportunities using simple printing techniques.

Places are limited on the Printastic workshop so booking is essential. For more details call (01723) 374753.
