CREATIVE teenagers put their artistic flair on show during a festival in the town.
Aftershock Scarborough, a mini version of the CultureShock Youth Arts Festival, took place over the weekend with scores of youngsters queueing up to sample a host of fun activities.
The event, in Burniston Road car park, saw dance duo The Squatters take centre stage on the musical front with a performance area also set aside for youngsters to showcase their talents to a live audience.
There was also graffiti art, DJing, manga and circus skills, with a Laser Quest and Water Walkers keeping the raft of people entertained throughout during the day.
A spokesperson said the festival had been a great success and had given youngsters a genuine opportunity to sample a range of fun activities for the first time.
She added there were hopes the festival could now become an annual event akin to the CultureShock Festival.
