If you look back on your schools days with more than a touch of nostalgia then an upcoming auction could be right up your street.

David Duggleby Auctioneers in Vine Street is holding a sale on Saturday of items from the old Bramcote School.

The school amalgamated with Scarborough College in 2012 and as such was left with an abundance of items that were not needed at the new premises.

Lots include a magnificent 7’6” Yamaha conservatory C7 grand piano, huge oak refectory tables and salon pieces suitable for re-upholstery.

The piano is expected to go for anything between £3,000 to £5,000.

The 780 lot sale also includes a special quality silver and jewellery section, antiques, collectables and home furnishings. One silver jug could fetch upwards of £500.

The lots can be viewed at the saleroom in Vine Street and Bramcote School on Friday from 10am to 7pm, and on sale day from 9am or you can view, bid and pay online.

All the lots, including those viewed at Bramcote, will be auctioned at The Vine Street Salerooms on Saturday with the bidding starting at 11am.
