Awards on agenda at meeting

A MEETING of Seamer Parish Council will be held tomorrow at 7pm at Crossgates Community Centre.

Members are reminded of the need to consider whether they have a personal or prejudicial interest to declare in any of the items on the agenda.

If so, the nature of the interest must be declared either at the start of the meeting or prior to the item being considered.

Members declaring a prejudicial interest in any item may speak on the item but must leave the meeting whilst the item is being discussed and voted on.

Items on the agenda include presentation of awards for the Best Decorated Property competition for Christmas 2010.

The winner of the residential property category was Mr and Mrs Zoeller of Curlew Drive. Second place was awarded to Mr and Mrs Mewse of Byward Drive and third place went to Mr and Mrs Sumner of Beacon Road.

The winner of the non-residential property category was Crossgates Community Centre.

There will also be time at the meeting for public participation.

Minutes from the last meeting on December 14 will also be considered, approved and confirmed. Any matters arising from the minutes will also be considered.
