TOYS galore will be going under the hammer at a fundraising auction in Scarborough on Saturday.

The auction is being held by Scarborough Childminders Group at Ebenezer Church Hall in Columbus Ravine.

Viewing is open from 12.30pm and the auction starts at 1pm.

There will hundreds of toys, along with baby equipment, for sale. All the funds raised will go towards a Christmas party for the youngsters who attend Scarborough Childminders’ Group.

Carole Smith, group secretary, said: “The toy auction has been held every year for about 15 years and it’s always very popular.

“It’s a great opportunity to start shopping early for Christmas and the ideal place to bag a bargain.”

Admission costs 50p and refreshments will be available.

There is still a couple of lots available for anyone who has toys to sell.
