A BIG birthday was on the cards for a Scarborough shop worker who celebrated her seven decades with colleagues at Proudfoot.
Ann Molloy was presented with flowers and presents from staff at Proudfoot in Eastfield to mark her 70th birthday.
And depite turning 70 Mrs Molloy shows no sign of retiring from the Scarborough based company, with which she has worked for 30 years.
Over the years Mrs Molloy has built up a long list of friends at Proudfoot, who were all pleased to help celebrate the milestone.
Colleague Jill Farren said: “Ann is our mother hen.
“She is much loved and respected by her colleagues and is a valuable employee and member of the team.”
Mrs Molloy was presented with flowers from Proudfoot, as well as a bracelet which was bought for her by colleagues following a collection.
Following celebrations at work Mrs Molloy continued to celebrate her 70th birthday with a weekend break to the Lake District with her husband.
