Scarborough Athletic have moved swifty following the departure of top-scorer Carl Stewart by closing in on another strike duo.
Boro boss Steve Kittrick has put the required seven-day notice in for Bridlington Town striker Brett Agnew and Ossett Town attacker Danny Frost.
Agnew has hit the back of the net 25 times this season in the NCEL Premier to help Brid push up towards the top few.
Frost bagged against Boro for Ossett when Town won 4-2 at Ingfield earlier this season and he has since taken his tally into double figures.
Kittrick said: “We have put seven days in for both players, now we are just waiting to have a chat with them and we’ll see what they want to do.
“Both are good players and good goalscorers, we’d like to have them both on-board at the club.”
