Scarborough Athletic boss Steve Kittrick will be checking his options ahead of Tuesday night's North Riding FA Cup clash at home to Redcar Town.
Kittrick is keen to protect the walking wounded and give a few fringe players a run, but at the same time he wants to win the game and progress in the competition.
Redcar are currently third in the Teesside League, they beat Fishburn Park on penalties to move through to this stage.
The Boro boss said: "We'll have to see who is fit for the game, we should have a full quota, but this is the opportunity to rest a few and have a look at a few.
"Players want to play in games rather than train, so they will be keen to be involved themselves.
"We have the likes of Matty Bloor and Joe Lamplough coming back from injury, this could give them the chance to see how far they are away.
"Winning breeds confidence as well, so we will be going out there looking for a result."
Kittrick will also welcome strikers Carl Stewart and Jordan Harrison back into the squad after they missed Saturday's outing at Trafford.
Stewart was away due to personal reasons, while Harrison accidentally went to Queensgate rather than Trafford.
Kittrick added: "Carl will be back, so he could be involved, we are looking to put a tracker on Jordan as well so we know where he's going."
