Paloma Faith is the latest act to announce that she will be appear in concert at Dalby Forest as part of the Forestry Commission’s popular Forest Live concert series.
She will appear at the forest near Pickering on Saturday, June 29, and joins Blondie to complete this year’s weekend line-up.
Her 2012 album, Fall to Grace, has led to a string of successful chart singles and led to Brit Award nominations for Best Album and Best British Female Artist.
Speaking of her Forest Live dates and her recent Brit nominations, she said: “I’m really excited about these shows. It’s going to be a great experience so I hope you will be able to join me on my woodland adventure this summer.
“I am delighted to have been nominated for these Brit awards. I don’t expect to win, but it’s so wonderful to be acknowledged for contributing something to British music. I am proud to be British and so happy to do something I love.”
Tickets are available from the Forestry Commission box office from Friday at 9am.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forest.
