Final plans are being put in place for the 121st Burniston Show which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday.
The event takes place on the A165 Coastal Road opposite Flatts Farm and the gates open to the public at 9.30am.
Admission is £6 for adults, £3 for children and family tickets (two adults and two children) are available for £15.
Show secretary Kate Harland said the show has lots of new attractions this year and that there is something for everyone.
She said: “We have some big new additions this year, including Purple Pig Petting Farm, who are bringing creatures such as pigs, sheep, rabbits, rats, a giant snail and much more.
“It’s something we wanted to do because kids go in the fur and feather tent and they can’t touch the birds and animals.
“This way they can experience what it’s like to touch different creatures.”
Kate added that there will also be alpacas this year, plus the Tail Waggers dog musical display team.
Eagle Eye Falconry will also be at the show, as will the Reptile Roadshow.
There will be a separate attractions ring this year and there will also be a horse breed parade for the first time.
Horse entries in the competition classes are well up on last year and craft entries have more than doubled from 90 to 200.
Kate said: “Last year the cake classes were huge with the Great British Bake Off, but this year craft has really taken off.”
The show has all the traditional competition classes as usual.
