THE Pindar sell off continues as administrators announce a another deal.
The Scarborough printing company’s cartography business, based in Aylesbury, has been sold to the Halstan Holdings.
All 16 of the business’ employees have been transferred to the Amersham based buyer as part of the deal.
Mark Firmin, joint administrator and KPMG Associate Partner, said: “We are very pleased to have sold a second Pindar business, safeguarding further employment.”
Pindar went in to administration of Tuesday, nearly three weeks after the business was put up for sale.
The Scarborough based web offset and bindery division was sold immediately to York Mailings, transferring all 255 jobs.
Following the sale of the Aylesbury branch, all that remain is an operation in York, one in Preston, and a smaller operation in Scarborough.
On Thursday administrators announced 31 staff will be made redundant from the Preston site.
Administrators are continuing to find buyers for the remaining assets of the Pindar business.
