DALE Power Solutions sparked new customer interest after a successful three day exhibition in Dubai.

The generator manufacturer, which operates under the Erskine brand in Salter Road, exhibited at the Middle East Electricity in Dubai.

Heralded as one of the largest power exhibitions in the world, with more than 141 generator and 41 UPS companies exhibiting, staff from Dale were hoping to build on the already global reputation of their brand.

The equipment launched at the event by Dale, as part of the Secure Series generators, was exhibited specifically for customers in the Middle East in a bid showcase the high ambient cooling options available that allow the generators to work in extreme environmental conditions.

More than 300 visitors to Dale’s stand were shown how the double compartment container allows operation in temperatures up to 55C.

Interest in the Secure Series reached such a height that the exhibition model was sold before the close of the show, with other orders in the pipeline.

Dale’s managing director Tim Wilkins said: “We took the decision to be involved in the Middle East Exhibition to expand and grow our market position.

“This event proved a great success in terms of making a statement about our capabilities and in getting our name out into this important market place.

“We are now working hard to build on this success and have already signed up for 2013.”

Also exhibited in Dubai were various pieces of equipment demonstrating the range of secure power solutions Dale offers including a canopied generator, E Series Commercial UPS and a Dual Charger system.

Following on from the success of the Secure Series in the Middle East, the first in a tour of UK Roadshow events was held at Aberdeen Football Club.
