A SUPPLIER of hygiene equipment has moved to new premises as the company expands in the Scarborough market.
Focus Hygiene was formed three years ago, supplying equipment and products to businesses in the Scarborough and Filey area.
The company has seen trade boom to such an extent that is has had to move to bigger premises, to a new unit further along from its former warehouse in Wareham Road.
The move has seen Focus not only double in size, but take on an extra member of staff, and also open a trade counter.
At the same time the business has expanded to provide work wear following a major investment in an embroidery machine.
Focus owner and director Chris McNeill, who has recenlty taken on his son, said: “We are delighted with how the business has developed over the last three years.
“The hygiene side of things is the bread and butter of the business, and it is going superb.
“We had outgrown where we were, and we are very excited to now have the opportunity to open a trade counter too.
“At the same time as the move we have started supplying work wear, and clothing.
“It was a very heavy investment in the machinery but since we have a launched it we have been inundated with queries.”
Mr McNeill attributes his business’s success to focusing on local demand only.
