A FORMER Pindar School and Scarborough Sixth Form College student was bound for Lisbon in Portugal recently as the main speaker at the Intergraf Young Leaders in Print conference.
Edward Ryder, who is also a former sales director of Pindar, has been running his own marketing agency, Biskit, in Leeds for the last eight years.
He was invited to speak at the event, which was developed to help print industry managers keep abreast of competition and market themselves more effectively.
Mr Ryder said: “I was proud to be asked. The event was pretty intensive, especially since I wrote and delivered the bulk of content over one-and-a-half days to 55 people.”
“Feedback since the event has been excellent and I am now chasing up one or two opportunities in the UK and abroad.”
Intergraf is the main association representing the printing industry in Europe, with members from across the continent.
