SCARBOROUGH has been given a beauty boost with the newly relaunched Ambassador Spa Hotel on the Esplanade.

Mayor and Mayoress of the borough, Cllr John Blackburn and wife Jackie, were there to cut the ribbon at the venue following a winter refurbishment.

Directors Charlotte and Harriet Frank and Kathryn Cherry were delighted with the response at the event which marked the opening of a new spa with treatment rooms, Mud Rasul, Zen Garden plus Heat and Aqua Retreat.

“It is a really exciting time for the Ambassador Spa Hotel and Scarborough,” said Charlotte Frank. “The open day was a huge success, hundreds of people came and loads of treatments were taken throughout the day.

“We’ve got a new spa, new boutique rooms and menus - everyone loved it and was really positive, and so many people said how brilliant it was for Scarborough.”
