A SCARBOROUGH law firm has made it to the shortlist for a regional award.
Pinkney Grunwells Lawyers, which has its head office in Westborough, is in the running for a prize at this year’s Yorkshire Lawyer Awards, which are being held in Leeds next month.
The firm has been shortlisted for the Law Firm Award (1-10 partners) and also Noel Barratt, from the Whitby Office, is up for the Enterprise Award.
Pinkney Grunwells, which has offices in Bridlington, Whitby and Hunmanby as well as its Scarborough office, had to demonstrate various criteria to be considered for the award, including contribution to the community, dedication to clients and also the development and welfare of its staff.
This year marks the 11th annual Yorkshire Lawyer Awards, and has seen the highest number of entries on record.
The winners will be revealed at a ceremony hosted by TV’s Calendar News presenter Gaynor Barnes.
The awards ceremony will also see money raised on the night in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research.
