AN established market on the outskirts of Scarborough now has a presence on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
The farmers’ market which is held every Friday from 8am to 1pm at the Downe Arms has been renamed Wykeham Village Market.
Manager Katrina Shamel explained: “It’s been going 11 years and its not just farmers who come any more.
“We have lots of local stall holders, for example a lady who makes her own jam and another who makes chocolates.
“We just want to remind people that there is a market on their own doorstep with food from a 20 miles radius.” Search for Wykeham Village Market on Facebook and Twitter.
