A SCARBOROUGH business networking group is offering a chance to join its ranks.
The Scarborough group of Business Network International (BNI) has generated more than £300,000 in business for its members in the past six months alone.
And after moving to a new venue for its weekly meetings it is now starting a recruitment drive.
Scarborough Group director Mark Grayshan said: “In these tough economic times there must be many people out there in Scarborough who would like more business.
“The Scarborough group has a fantastic track record in generating business for its members – more than £300,000 in the past six months and many millions of pounds in the years that it has been going.
“As we begin a new era for the group, at a new venue, we are looking for more like-minded business people to join us.”
The group meets every Tuesday morning at the Palm Court Hotel in Scarborough. Only one person per professional category is allowed to join at any one time.
At the moment it is looking in particular for a plumber/heating engineer, website designer, photographer, accountant, printer and a computer repair company, but Mr Grayshan said he was happy to hear from other businesses too.
“There are many different categories that we can have as members of the group so if people want to get in touch we can discuss what opportunities are available,” he added.
“We usually operate recruitment by invitation only, so this is a rare opportunity to become part of our business networking and referral organisation.”
