The historic 23-bedroomed hotel in the centre of Scarborough closed earlier this year.

It is being marketed by Collin Ellis, which said of the building: "Located adjacent to the beautiful Crescent Gardens with sea views and in a parade of stone built Edwardian terraced houses, this property sits in a superb position and has much to offer.

"There is also a front car park providing valuable parking for up to 10 cars.

"The hotel is currently closed and is being sold vacant with all fixtures and fittings ready for new ownership."

It adds: "The property may also appeal to developers, as a conversion to flats may be possible."
