SCARBOROUGH’S traders have launched their own marketing campaign to bring shoppers and visitors to the town this summer.
Thousands of copies of a new free shopping, events and attractions guide have been produced by the Scarborough Chamber of Trade to promote the town.
The new guides are being distributed to more than 550 outlets throughout Yorkshire and beyond.

“We have a large variety of different, independent shops, as well as the usual high street favourites.
“We have attractions and events to please visitors all year round and of course the natural beauty that has made Scarborough famous.
“All in all, we have a fantastic package and are looking forward to welcoming millions of visitors again this summer.”
A total of 75,000 copies of the guide have been printed . It was produced in association with Chamber members, Effective PR and Marketing and Adverset printers in Scarborough.
- The Evening News also publishes its own 76-page visitor guide, highlighting the best places in town. This year’s guide comes out tomorrow and is available from the Evening News office in Aberdeen Walk.
