A SCARBOROUGH hair salon has shown its support for St Catherine’s Hospice.

Shona’s Hair Studio in St Thomas Street raised £298 for the hospice by raffling off a pair of GHD hair straighteners.

The lucky winner was Sue Dowsland who was delighted to go along and pick up her prize from the salon.

Hospice fundraiser Amanda Welburn said: “On behalf of everyone at Saint Catherine’s Hospice I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated to raise this terrific sum.

“Thank you also to Shona and her team for donating this wonderful prize - and finally well done to Sue for being the lucky winner!”
