Work by graduating Fine Art students at Yorkshire Coast College is on display at the Westwood Campus until Saturday.

The exhibition is an opportunity to see and support the work of 12 students and features a mixture of painting, sculpture and installation.

Kane Cunningham, course leader, BA Fine Art, said: “This has been an exceptional year for the BA Fine Art at Yorkshire Coast College.

“All of our graduating students are either taking studios in Scarborough or going onto teacher training.

“Many of our students have achieved their lifetime ambition to have a degree in Fine Art and become a full-time painter.

“The BA in Fine Art here at Yorkshire Coast College offers the opportunity for local people, who want to stay within the region, to learn the skills necessary to be a practising artist.

“We are currently interviewing students for the BA Fine Art starting in September and are very excited with the calibre of students we have starting with us next year.”

The exhibition is open today and Friday from 10am to 4pm and on Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
