Chance to vote on future of village hall

RESIDENTS in the Central Rural Area of Scarborough are being encouraged to attend one of two decision-making events on the future of Burniston and Cloughton Village Hall.

The hall committee would like to renew the surface of the hall floor, replace bridges in the grounds and rebuild the youth shelter.

Anyone who has lived in the Central Rural Area for more than 11 years is able to vote on the issue.

The first meeting will take place at Ayton Village Hall in Wilson’s Lane, East Ayton, from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday February 10. The second event will be held two days later at Scalby Rugby Club in Scalby Road, from 10am to 2pm.
