Family fun was the order of the day at a special event by Yorkshire Coast Homes in support of The Firstlight Trust.

The event in the town centre, which featured face painting and a raffle, was aimed at raising funds and awareness for the Scarborough-based charity which provides physical, emotional and psychological help to service veterans.

Yorkshire Coast Homes’ money management officer Vicki Bayes said: “It was brilliant. There were lots of people wanting to know more about The Firstlight Trust. Some people said they were in difficulty and would be approaching the trust for help, and quite a few people were keen to volunteer.” Pictured are Katie and Joshua Stretton with Emma Palmer, Toby Robinson Vicki Bayes.
