Scarborough TEC Skills for Life students from Entry Levels 2 and 3 have taken part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising £68.78.

The students held the coffee morning in the Waves Refectory at the Filey Road campus.

Lisa Routledge, tutor for Skills for Life, said: “It’s great for the students to take part in events like this because it shows them how important it is to be part of the community.

“It’s part of their enterprise unit, gives them some great life experiences, and teaches them skills such as cash handling.”
