BARNARDO’S charity shop in Scarborough is holding a “Stock our Stores” day today.
The shop in Aberdeen Walk is issuing an urgent SOS and asking the public to donate items they no longer need.
The charity is asking every household to donate at least one bag of unwanted, good quality clothing to their local Barnardo’s store.
The campaign is being supported by TV presenter Melinda Messenger, who said: “I’m a stickler for making sure that I recycle my unwanted stuff and donate back to charity.
“This is why I’m supporting the SOS appeal, as the more the public donates, the more vulnerable children Barnardo’s can help.”
