A CHINESE show of acrobats and martial arts is coming to the Spa Grand Hall this summer.
Shanghai will be presented by Cirque du Ciel on 29 and 30 August.
It is billed as “a two-hour extravaganza that combines acrobatics, modern dance, original music, martial arts and many other Chinese elements in an adventure you will find amazing to believe and difficult to forget.
“With superb costumes, sets and lighting, this stunning production showcases the skills of the performers and the world-class team behind the scenes”, says the promoter.
“In addition to traditional Chinese stunts such as the aerial silks and the famous monkey poles, Cirque du Ciel’s Shanghai features a fabulous storyline which will captivate and enthral audiences of all ages”.
Shanghai is an artistic collaboration between Theatre Productions International, Chinese producers and Cirque du Soleil and Darlion director Guy Caron.
