Appeal after golf bag stolen in shed break-in

SCARBOROUGH are appealing for information following a shed break-in.

It took place overnight between 6pm on Saturday April 9 and 10am on Sunday April 10 from a shed in the back yard of a house in Trinity Road in the town.

The thieves stole a Karcher power washer, a green canvas Hippo golf bag. They also stole a full set of golf clubs comprising of a Hippo driver, three woods, TaylorMade irons 3 to 9, a pitching wedge and a sand wedge and a TaylorMade putter as well as a white golf glove and a dozen golf balls.

PC Steve Normandale, of Scarborough Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who knows the identity of the burglars or may have been offered the items for sale.

“I ask that they contact me at Scarborough Police Station as soon as possible.”
