TWO Scarborough men have been remanded in custody on burglary and assault offences.
Christopher Robinson, 42, and Simeone Johnson, 23, appeared at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court yesterday in relation to a number of charges regarding an alleged theft of two computers and a memory stick worth £560 from a property in Royal Avenue on Thursday, March 25.
Two youths, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also appeared in court charged with assault and burglary and theft with attempted violence respectively.
Robinson, of Durham Place, is charged with aggravated burglary, actual bodily harm, affray, burglary, possession of a class B drug and offensive weapon and failure to provide a specimen.
Johnson, of Bracken Hill, faces charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, affray, possessing an offensive weapon and obstructing a police officer.
Magistrates remanded all four in custody until Monday, when they are due to appear at York Crown Court.
