A SCARBOROUGH man has been remanded in custody after admitting breaching his bail conditions.
James John Carey, 40, of Seamer Road, pleaded guilty to going to the flat of his then partner on December 15, which was banned under the terms of his bail.
Carey was on conditional bail for assault, following an alleged incident on November 30.
He pleaded not guilty at a previous hearing and a Crown Court trial was listed for February 16.
Catherine Turnbull, prosecuting, said police found Carey at the banned address on December 15 and he was arrested and taken into custody. She argued that he should be refused bail on the grounds he would interfere with witnesses. Carey was remanded until December 22.
