Police have today confirmed that a man died in a Scarborough pub last night.
An ambulance was called to the Golden Last in Eastborough at around 7.30pm after the man collapsed.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said officers were called to the scene by the ambulance service.
He added: “The 32-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later by paramedics.
“Police are currently treating the death as unexplained. However, it is not believed to be suspicious and no one else is being sought in connection with the death.
“We are not yet in a position to release his identity. A file will be prepared on behalf of the coroner.”
