BREAKING NEWS: Police swoop from five vehicles

Armed police along with plain clothed and uniformed officers took part in enforcing a planned road block on Ramshill Road. A young male driving a silver BMW had his boot searched during the road block. Traffic was disrupted as queues of traffic built up and passers by gathered to witness the sting. A MAJOR police operation led to the arrest of a man at South Cliff in Scarborough.

Officers in a total of five marked and unmarked cars took part in the swoop at about 7pm.

Officers, armed with Taser stun guns, descended on a suspect in a silver car when he was driving past the Cliff Garage in Ramshill Road.
