POLICE have appealed for witnesses after two nail guns were stolen from a Scarborough property.
The break in occurred in Victoria Street, between 11pm and midnight on Thursday last week.
The offender then proceeded to take two bright orange cases, each containing a nail gun, before making a getaway from the scene.
Police were called to the property and have now launched an appeal for information to assist them in their hunt for the burglar.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We are seeking witnesses who may have seen the break in.
“We would also like to speak with anyone who has seen someone during that time or shortly after, carrying two bright orange cases, or anyone who may have any other information relating to this incident.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact PC Sarah Margetts at Scarborough Police Station on 0845 6060247.
Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers, which can be reached on 0800 555111.
