North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a male exposing himself at The Mere in Scarborough.

It happened on the disused track, between the Mere and the Railway tracks at 3.45pm on Tuesday and involved a white male, around 18- 25 years old, slim build, with straight dark brown hair down to his jaw line, with a block of red dyed hair on the left side.

The man also had heavy stubble and bushy eye brows.

He was wearing a green parker jacket with a hood that did not have any fur lining.
