Casino battle set for high court

THE battle over a new Small Casino Licence for Scarborough will continue after the owners of the town’s Opera House Casino confirmed that they are taking their legal battle to the High Court.

However, Scarborough Council and Scarborough Magistrates’ Court were informed on Friday that an appeal will be lodged with the High Court within 21 days of Judge Blake’s ruling on August 15
