THE following cases have been dealt with at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court (addresses Scarborough unless stated):

Robert Clark, 20, of Briercliffe: six penalty points, fined £100 and £60 costs for driving without insurance.

James Jarman, 22, of Jackson Close, Cayton: six penalty points, fined £220, plus £60 costs for driving without insurance.

Dane Markwick, 20, of Milton Avenue, Malton: detention for 14 weeks, suspended for 12 months, with 50 hours unpaid work and 13 weeks curfew, plus £583.50 compensation and £85 costs for assault.

Tracy Gross, 32, of Holme Hill, Eastfield: three penalty points, fined £60 and £15 costs for speeding.

James Dyson, 27, of Laburnum Road, Whitby: community order, with 180 hours unpaid work, plus £85 costs for threatening behaviour and possessing an offensive weapon.

Dawn Kendall, 33, of Goslipgate, Pickering: prison for 22 weeks, suspended for 12 months, banned from driving for 12 months, with 200 hours unpaid work and £430 compensation for driving without insurance and theft.

Laura Morrison, 19, of Middleton Road, Pickering: community order, with 100 hours unpaid work, plus £150 costs for assault.

Michelle Walters, 44, of The Meadows, Foxholes: prison for 12 months for theft and fraud.

Neil Gibson, 23, of Columbus Ravine: conditionally discharged for six months, plus £85 costs for shoplifting.

Damien Austin, 29, of Castlegate, Malton: five months curfew for breaching a restraining order and conviction of an offence while a community order is in force.

Jenna Brewster, 21, of Osborne Terrace, Whitby: community order, with 100 hours unpaid work, plus £260 compensation for criminal damage.

Lewis Jasper, 19, of Palace Hill: three penalty points, community order, with 250 hours unpaid work, fined £60 and £145 costs for attempted theft, for driving when the grooves of the tread pattern of tyre fitted to the inner wheel of the vehicle were not of a correct depth.

Matthew King, 21, of Castlegate, Malton: bound over in the sum of £250 for 12 months to keep the peace.

David Appleyard, 44, of Westbourne Grove: community order, plus £85 costs for breaching an anti-social behaviour order.

Neil Hall, 36, of Cromwell Terrace: community order, with £85 costs for theft and possessing Diazepam and cannabis.

Sally Calvert, 36, of Prospect Mount Road: addition of 20 hours unpaid work and two days activity requirement for failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.

Paul Downes, 27, of Queen Street: community order, with 220 hours unpaid work, for failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.

Laura Jackson, 27, of Church Street, Norton: community order, with £85 costs for threatening behaviour and obstructing a police officer.
