Heroin and crack found in North Bay

PACKAGES containing what is believed to be several thousands of pounds worth of heroin and crack cocaine have been discovered in a public place in Scarborough.

The substances, which have now been sent for specialist analysis, were found in the North Bay area of the town.

They were recovered on Monday last week and police yesterday issued an appeal for anyone with information on the packages to get in touch as they continue their investigation into the haul.
