Irresponsible dog owners appear before court

FOUR irresponsible dog owners have been taken to court following investigations by Scarborough Council’s Dog Warden Service.

Shaun Kenneth Redmond, of New Queen Street, pleaded guilty by post to a dog fouling offence in Queen’s Parade.

He was fined £50, with a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.

Philip Barraclough, of High Street, Snaith, Goole, pleaded guilty to a dog fouling offence at Filey Country Park, and was fined £50, a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.

Jeff Pratt, of Victoria Avenue, Filey, was proved by absence of a dog fouling offence at St Oswald’s Church, Filey. Again he was fined £50, with a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.

And Malcolm Eglon, of Newlands Avenue, Whitby, pleaded guilty by post to a dog fouling offence at North Promenade, Whitby.

He was fined £50, a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.
