Malton arrests in search for fugitive

RESIDENTS from the Malton area were among eight people arrested yesterday on suspicion of assisting fugitive Robert Henry Foster.

Foster, 22, is wanted by police in connection with a serious assault on his 43-year-old father-in-law, which occurred in Seamer Caravan Site, near Stokesley, over the weekend.

The Evening News understands that Foster’s wife and the victim’s daughter, 18-year-old Natalie Foster, was among those arrested yesterday.

Police launched a huge manhunt for Natalie and her seven-month-old son Robert, after considerable concerns were raised for their safety.

Natalie attended Northallerton Police Station on Sunday after a high-profile appeal.
