A SCARBOROUGH man has appeared in court charged with stealing £17,638.33 from a fuel company.
Sean Perry, 29, is accused of theft by employee after allegedly taking the money from Watson Wood Fuels, in Foxholes, between January 4 and June 30 last year.
Perry, of Constable Road, Hunmanby, spoke only to confirm his name and address during a brief hearing at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Perry, who appeared in court wearing a grey suit, striped shirt and pink tie, did not enter a plea.
Magistrates bailed Perry until April 10 to appear at York Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing.
