Police in Scarborough have released the image of a woman as they try to trace two suspects they want to speak to in connection with a bike theft investigation.

The suspects, a man and a women, are being sought following the theft of a mountain bike.

A digital television box was also taken during the incident, which occurred at a property in North Marine Road on Thursday, November 15.

An Alba digital receiver and a light blue Carrera mountain bike were taken from accommodation quarters at the premises sometime between 3pm and 11pm.

After releasing the images this week officers are appealing to anyone who recognises the suspects to contact them with information.

The woman is described as white, aged around 25-years-old.

She is approximately 5ft tall with a large build and long blond hair tied in a bun.

The man is described as white, aged around 21-years-old, with a slim build.

He was wearing a distinctive grey hat with furry ear flaps.

Anyone who can help officers to identify the suspects is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police.

Those with information are asked to contact police by dialling 10, then select option two before asking to speak with either PC David Lingwood, or Scarborough police.
